SOLVED: Transparency sheet effects not working?
Hi. I am a relatively new user of CC3 (version 3.43), and I'm trying to learn the complexities of the software while also trying to be productive with it.
I exported a file from FT3, and spent some time drawing the political borders onto the map. I defined different colours for each of the resulting countries, with the intention of using Sheet effects to decrease their opacity. However, I activated sheet effects for the Borders sheet, and set a 50% Opacity value, but nothing happened. The country colours are still opaque.
I'm sure I'm missing something easy, but after searching both this forum and google, I can't seem to figure it out. Thank you in advance for your help.
EDIT: I had the merge layer hidden.

I did, however, have the merge layer turned off (I think as the problem, I changed three different things at the same time, so I'm not entirely sure which one fixed it - Duh).
