  I found out why the image was not displaying like it was supposed to. It has to do with the naming of the PNG. If you save the file like this Hardrada's Stronghold, it does not load up right; but if you name it Hardradas Stronghold, it works.

  For those that are interested, these maps are an attempt to display the taiga biome of Kelleemah where the Vagoth (Fantasy version of Vikings), various Jotunn (Giants), Storrnadr (Great Serpents/Dragons), Vigaferli (the Man Slaughters/Antlern from OSRIC RPG), Sellevolk (the Quite People/Northern Dwarves), and others live.

  I love the water fens! Was there a particular strategy you had for the layout of the swamps, or was it just kinda random/whatever looked good?

  Thanks for the complements Kilma & Jedius!
  
  I read up on various types of wetlands and chose this one for my terrain.
  It is a combination of wetlands with trees and areas of open water.
  There is no particular layout other than that basic concept.
  I use the Swamp_MS fill to define the shape of the Fen.
  I then randomly place areas of open water.
  I then use the Swamp_vc & Swamp Tree_vc symbols to fill in the remaining areas of the Swamp_MS defined area.
