Corrupt Map

Is there any recourse when the map you worked on for 4 hours suddenly dies and will not be displayed. All I can see is a blank white view screen with a red border and in the coordinate box at the top it says NAN,NAN. This map was created with DD3 and the latest update. My auto save is fried too.

I seem to be able to create new maps ok. And I can export to JPG with sheet effects.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Support really came thru for me. Thank again.

Turns out it wasn't magic. Linda was helpful enough to provide this detail

I’m not sure what happened with the map to break it but it was most
likely an aborted macro that placed a NAN entity on the map (NAN is not an entity)
When this happens, you can ZTEXT & enter a letter like a – this zooms
the map back into the actual map. At that point I just zoomed so I could see
the whole map & then deleted everything outside of the borders. Which got
    rid of the bad NAN.

I replicated Linda's fix and came up with these steps for posterity.
    1. Open broken map and enter the ZTEXT command in the command box at the bottom.
    2. Type single "a" in the command box and press enter.
    3. If you have multiple matches, choose one of them.
    4. You should be able to see your map now. Click the Zoom Extents tool to center.
    5. The invisible NAN that lives outside the map must now be removed.
      1. Choose Edit--Erase from the Menu
      2. Right click your map and pick All. Everything is now selected.
      3. Right click your map and pick Combine--Not
      4. Now draw a box around your map frame. Click just outside a corner to
        get it started.
      5. Once you click the opposite corner, there should be only one item selected,
        the NAN.
      6. Right click the map and choose Do It.
    6. All should be well, save your map.
