Erase Command Not Working

Hi All
Think i might have somehow corrupted my CC3 software. Im trying to use Erase from the drop down menu. Ordinarily i click on it, select an entity and right click 'Do It'. Now i am unable to select. Nothing is Frozen or Fixed to disable the erase capability so I dont know what to do.
Any help would be appreciated.

Try typing "selbyd" (without the quotes) and hit a return. That should return your selection to the normal way.
You can also get to this through the menu: Tools>Options click the "Select Method" button. Select "Dialog or Popup" and hit ok. That should reset it.
