Import files from Adobe Illustrator
I'm running CC3 v3.43 and Illustrator CS6
Does anyone have the .dfx or .dwg setting for Illustrator export so that the files are editable in CC3 without it crashing.
I've been doing some experimentation simple rectangles are fine exported with the generic settings they can either be opened or inserted and edit fine, but as soon as I add a curve in illustrator CC3 crashes on import (even using the oval tool to draw a simple circle is failing). I'm guessing its a clash between Adobes bezier settings and the CC3 way of doing things.
The Illustrator files are RGB, single layer, fill only, no compound paths.

Comments
1. select the artwork in Illustrator
2. Choose Effects>Distort & Transform>Roughen
Set size to 0.01% Relative
Set Detail somewhere between 50 to 100 /in
Set Points to Corner
3. From the Object menu choose Expand Appearance.
4. Now export using the generic settings.
This will remove all the curves from your image and add a gazillion points but it will successfully import for conversion to a symbol
However would rather be able to import curves if anyone out there has a better fix...
