Question about CD3 example

I have a question about a CD3 example. It's also on this website:

I like the way the houses are squeezed together. How do I do that?

I am using the custom house tool and can't seem to get that effect. Should I use another tool?

Ralf, who did this map can answer better, but I am quite sure he placed them manually using the "insert building tool".

I definitely need some more instructions to be able to do this myself :-)
Some step by step pointers would be great...

See attached images. The insert building tool (little red building, top left) and use the house style shown, that way U can connect the houses wall to wall.

Wow, I feel so stupid. I missed that option and I was stuck drawing rectangular houses :-)

Yeah, thanks Grimur, that's exactly how I did it (originally for Source Maps: Cities!). I used the Enpoint (F5) and On modifiers (F9) a lot too, to connect the corners to existing houses.
