My custom sheets have gone, any way to get the content back?
I'm really not sure what happened. I had been working on a map for a couple of days, and when I opened it up today all my custom sheets were gone, and therefore all my content.
My map consisted of a selection of custom drawing tools that I was using on a CD3 map using CD3BA_Water3 as the background. (trying to make something for this 3 miles island competition that's due by 1st March)
I created the following 3 tools, and had created fractal shapes for water depths and height on the island.
Water, Sea 2, Fractal - CD3A_Water2 - BACKGROUND SEA 2
Water, Sea, Fractal - CD3A_Water1 - BACKGROUND SEA 1
Terrain, Land - CD3A_Grass1 - BACKGROUND LAND
Terrain, Land 2 - CD3A_Grass2 - BACKGROUND LAND 1
Terrain, Land 3 - CD3A_Grass3 - BACKGROUND LAND 2
The last thing I was doing yesturday, was changing the BACKGROUND LAND content to have a CD3A_Grass2 fill, BACKGROUND LAND 1 contours to have a CD3A_Grass3 fill and the BACKGROUND LAND 2 content I was experimenting with various fills to find something more stonier that I liked.
I've avoided clicking yes on the auto-save since I noticed the issue, just in case there is a way to get the content back. Luckily a lot of the time was experimentation, but as I said, I'm a little worried about losing stuff on custom sheets in the future.
Autosave is on, so I theoretically could have saved with some of the sheets hidden while I was playing around, but I don't really understand why this would delete all the custom sheets and their content.
I'm a little worried now, as I don't understand what I did wrong, and don't want to end up spending hours on a map again, just to lose the contents.

It might seem a silly question, but I think there's still a problem with CC3 where it doesn't save empty sheets. So tutorials explaining how to set up sheets often say to place a single point entity at 0,0 on a frozen layer, so that the sheet is never empty.
If you had an actual map drawn onto the sheets and they've vanished then I'm stumped this time, sorry it's not something that's happened to me.
Content was fills though rather than symbols, and all the fractal fills I was using on the various sheets were also custom. I was experimenting with contour-like fills, so each of the custom sheets had a custom fractal fill with a different texture. Some (maybe all) of the sheets also had effects attached, although they would not have been turned on.
That being said, I was experimenting with one sheet in particular, so I guess they could have theoretically been hidden during an auto-save prior to closing the app.
Does being a 'hidden' sheet count as having nothing on it? If so, that slightly scares me with regards to auto-save.
Of course logic sometimes — and ironically — doesn't apply when talking about computers or software.
