Colour scheme

Is it possible for me to change the colour scheme I see this site on?
The difference in colour between Read Topic and Unread topics is almost imperceptible for me, and I'd like that difference to be a lot less subtle.

I'll take a look at making the difference more noticeable. Currently members can't change their colour schemes, sorry.
  • Hmm. Tonight, I have noticed 2 different colors for the unread posts.

One of them is slightly darker than the forum, the other is noticably darker than the forum color. I would say the second one is several shades darker, the first is very close to the read background color.

Before today I noticed only one unread background color.

Could an add-on have altered this ?

If I understand it correctly, the two different shades are for very recent posts and generally new ones respectively.

    I've changed the colours:
    - No New comment threads should now have the same color as the background
    - New comment threads should be a much brighter than the background, making the topics stand out.
    - Very recent new comments should stand out in a reddish colour.

Let me know whether this works better.

EDIT: No, the third colour is not for very recent posts. It says "NewComments" in the style sheet, but it doesn't seem to be applied there. I've gotta hunt around a little more to see what it is for.
  • Those colours are a lot more noticeable. Not too sure about the pink one :) But it works.
I thought one colour was for threads you had visited, and had new posts since you last visited.
And the other colour was for new threads, that you hadn't visited yet.

Changed the pink to a light green.

  • Bumping this up...

I am visually impaired, and I find the color scheme on the fora (and the main site) to be incredibly difficult to read. While it's very pretty, it's mostly unusable. Please come up with a higher contrast color scheme (light background, dark text is easiest for the visually impaired).
