CD3 hi-res bitmaps (CD3Bitmaps.exe) won't install
Hello all,
Just installed and started using CC3, CD3, and DD3 today. Also downloaded the hi-res bitmap file (CD3Bitmaps.exe) but it fails during install and displays the following error:
"Sorry, your previous CD3 installation could not be located.
Please install and run City Designer 3 first."
I did install CD3 (CD3Setup.exe) prior to this without problems. I've tried running/uninstalling/reinstalling/repairing CD3 but the CD3Bitmaps.exe issues the same error.
Any ideas on how to proceed? I'm running 32-bit Win7 SP1 with everything installed in the same directory (though not on C: drive, which is system only).
Thanks,
Taj

Had to uninstall CD3 and reinstall as admin, then install the hi-res bitmaps .exe as an admin as well. All is good.
Right click and select 'run as administrator' seems to fix these problems.
Hopefully you used the hidden admin account as Win 7 and Vista claism the first account you create is the admin account, but it isn't.

And the one for WIn 7.

Back in Win XP, the first name account you created was the admin account. No idea why it was changed.
