Hexagon Sewer Battle Tile

So I'm working on a set of Hexagonal Battle Tiles for GURPS and I'm going to be making a very large MegaDungeon.

Well the first level is going to be a sewer but I'm not happy with my sewer tile right now. The plan is to ONLY use CC3 tools as I will be blogging this so I don't want to be bringing in 3rd party images.

So for the sewer channel I created a new layer and named it DEPRESSED FLOOR and gave it Blur of Strength 4 Blur radius 1. I then added two different water effects (sludge) one was rectangular covering the entire brick channel the other was rounded in the centre of the sewer channel.

I'm not all together happy with it. It just does not seem right. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
