CC3: "Lighted Bevel" sheet effect

Lighted Bevel filter

Could somebody please help me with the "Lighted Bevel" sheet effect filter? I remember vaguely that something like this showed up in the Cartographer's Annual laboratory last year, but the details escape me and the laboratory page for 2007 has disappeared. The field names in the dialog box are less that helpful.

    Lighted Bevel is still in development and its interface will still be changed. Bevel Size is the width of the bevel in map units. Intensity, Lightness Base and Lightness Range are all percentage values gives as values from 0 to 1.

    Attached is an example setting for a 1' bevel on a wall or so.
