Scale Bars

Hi all,

Very new to CC3 and a little overwhelmed. Working on my first map and I put a scale bar in the corner. It is listed in miles. I would like to make it "Scale in Leagues" where a league equals 1.5 miles. I cannot figure out how to do this. I have tried Change, and all it does is highlight it.

Pretty frustrated.

The text is a part of the symbol. To get to the text, you first need to explode

the symbol, then use numeric edit

on the text. Before doing this, make sure the symbol does not reside on a frozen layer, or you won't be able to edit it.

The other option is to open the symbol manager, find and select the symbol in the list, and then click on the "Edit" button. This will allow you to create a new window in which you can edit the symbol directly. No worries about frozen layers or anything like that and the map will continue to treat the symbol as a single entity (good in case you need to move or rescale it later).
