It literally takes a half an hour to print with effects on. Is there any way to tell CC3 to render at a lower resolution when printing or anything like that?
One more thing: for a small portion of a map, it buffers a 70 meg file in my printer cache. This can't possibly be right. Is there a better way to do this?

You can always lower the bitmap resolutions in the "Display Speed" dialog (the hourglass icon on the left toolbar).
We're also working on an improved printing wizard.
Have you tried printing to pdf? Does that print any faster?
