Help with Anual 11: Connecting Symbols
I'm trying to make a map using the connecting symbols found in Annual 11, the stream connecting symbols to be precise. I can put the stream in NP, but when I turn on effects, it shows both the original symbol and its mirror, i.e. if a mirror image was used to make a curve. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
I've also tried to mirror symbols and the same thing happens when I turn on the effects.

Curious because even with no effect added, it still happens when you make effects on...
One solution would be to turn only counter-clockwise which is of course not always an option if you want snake-like rivers.
Attached is a sample. The big symbols turn clockwise. Note that the straight parts are ok when the effects are applied.
The smaller symbols turn counter-clockwise and look ok.
