I have an old map that was created using the Mappa Harnica add-on for CC2. I don't need the rest of the add-on, but I do need the custom palette they used. Does anyone have a copy? I'd prefer not trying to risk screwing up my CC3 install in order to install Mappa Harnica just to get that one file.

Thanks for any help in advance.

The attached ZIP file contains a copy of the Mappa Harnica custom palette that I've been using with CC3. HARNICA.PAL contains the colors found in Mappa Harnica maps. Rename the HARNICA.PAL file to FCW32.PAL and place in the DriveLetter:\programs\profantasy\CC3 folder or equivalent in your CC3 installation. Keep in mind that palettes work differently in CC3 than they did in CC2 Pro - the default palette is now "hardwired" into the software, and custom palettes you make exist in PAL files. If you have an existing FCW32.PAL file, it's probably another custom palette so I recommend backing it up or renaming it before you copy the Harnica palette over, just in case it isn't attached to an existing CC3 map. I also recommend reviewing these articles in CC3 help on palettes as well: http://www.profantasy.com/cchelp/hlp_cmd_colordlg.htm and http://www.profantasy.com/cchelp/understanding_colors_in_cc3.htm Hope this helps! Thanks. I'll work with it this week. I have the symbols placed , they just rely on the colors MH replaced the pink-purple ones in the standard palette. Yeah, I'll attach it to the map now that there is an option to do that

Ok. It's a long time in the works, and still in CC2 style, so don't hold your breath...

I still love "classic vector" CC2 maps as well. :)
