Symbol Not showing, need help ASAP please!!!!

When I import my Symbol as a PNG on the background layer, it doesn't show up after I set it where it needs to be. Any ideas? It works fine in the default canvas. But it wont work at all in the other one I have.

What it is doing, is its hiding behind the canvas. It hides there when I click on something else. I have a feeling it has something to do with the layers/sheets.

    Since it is a PNG that you imported yourself, when you place it in your map it is more than likely be put onto the COMMON sheet which is drawn "under" every other sheet including the background. You can change the settings in symbol manager to put the symbol onto a sheet of your choosing, or you can hide everything except common and then change the properties of the symbol that way. Either option should allow you to see your symbol afterward.

    I recommend the first option as it will change the symbol properties to always be placed onto a sheet other than common.
